Sample Call script:
“Hi, my name is [Name] and I live in [City]. I am calling to ask Senator [Name] to oppose SB 230 on April 23. SB 230 would allow officers to shoot people in the back who are suspected of only minor crimes and pose no imminent threat. In other words, SB 230 will enable police to use deadly force when they have alternatives. AB 392 provides the best pathway toward meaningful reform California needs. Please oppose SB 230.”
