Yesterday at Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy. They have land next to Eaton Canyon, which had structures destroyed by the fire. As we prepared for our next Let’s Talk Let’s Listen as we learn about the history, present, fire damage, and future plans and how the community can walk beside them. So join us on April 15th at Altadena Library Doors open 5:30pm Program starts promptly at 6pm till 7:30pm Dinner will be served

,Thank you to everyone who came last night Let’s Talk Let’s Listen “The Value Of The Land” the first in a series that POP will do to cover issues that will be on the journey of rebuilding and recovery building peope power. Thank you to Greenline Housing's Jasmine, Remy of Morena Strategies, Demitrius, and My Tribe Rise's Heavenly Hughes for moderating and starting the conversation about land trusts and the complexities. Thank you to the Pasadena Job Center for the delicious food and Radio Jornalera for live streaming. Thank you to our Spanish translators Ada and her team. As the series deepens we will return to land trusts and have a session with those who have been doing it for many years and the lesson learned and the benefits for communities. WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER ON THE JOURNEY TO JUSTICE REVEALED
POP! Co-Chair Pablo Alvarado and the Pasadena Job Center standing in solidarity for a whole 40 plus apartment complex in Altadena that the tenants are demanding justice. Thank you to Red Cross LA for standing with them.
POP! Co-Chair Pablo Alvarado and gave a great celebration with his team Jose Madera and the Pasadena Job Center to honor and uplift the volunteers and workers who have worked tirelessly for the past 8 weeks clearing the debris from the streets of Pasadena and Altadena for absolutely FREE! Thank you to the elected officials who came and their reps -- Senator Sasha Renee Perez, Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo, and Vice Mayor Jess Rivas. Pasadena is grateful for everyone who invested their time to community.
