Meet Our Board
PABLO ALVARADO (POP Co-Chair) co-founded the National Day Laborers Organizing Network (NDLON) in 2001 and is the Co-Executive Director. He has been awarded multiple honors and recognitions including the Next Generation Leadership Fellowship from the Rockefeller Foundation. In August 2005, he was recognized as among the 25 most influential Hispanics in the U.S. by TIME Magazine.

RICK COLE is Councilmember-Elect for District 2 and takes office in December after winning 60% of the vote with a positive, issue-oriented grass roots campaign. He has previously served as the Mayor of Pasadena during his twelve year service as a City Councilmember (1983-95) and went on to serve as City Manager in three California cities: Azusa, Ventura and Santa Monica. He also served as Deputy Mayor for Budget and Innovation for the City of Los Angeles. He is currently the Chief Deputy Controller of Los Angeles and District 5 Planning Commission Commissioner.

CHARLOTTE LACEY is a dedicated fundraising professional with a focus on animal welfare and children's needs. She has previously served as Chair of Pasadena’s Commission on the Status of Women, Vice President of Legislative and Government Affairs for the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, and President of the Junior League of Pasadena.
